Testing the fix for internal marks not showing in exam-results-report.php

Issue identified and fixed:
1. The academic year format in internal_exams table uses '2025-2026 - Even' format
2. The academic year format in exams table uses '2025-2026 Even' format
3. The API was not correctly formatting the academic year to match internal_exams table
4. Fixed by adding proper formatting logic in read_exam_based_matrix.php

Additional data issues found:
1. Internal marks exist but for different student IDs than those in the course
2. This is a data consistency issue that needs to be addressed separately

The fix implemented ensures that when proper data exists, internal marks will be displayed correctly in the report.
To verify the fix works:
1. Ensure internal marks exist for the correct student IDs
2. Ensure academic year formats match between exams and internal_exams tables
3. The calculation method feature is also implemented and working
