Current pattern_questions table structure:
- id: int(11)
- section_id: int(11)
- question_no: varchar(50)
- question_type: varchar(50)
- cognitive_level: varchar(50)
- question_text: text
- co_codes: longtext
- po_codes: longtext

Current question_no column type: varchar(50)
✅ question_no column is already VARCHAR/TEXT type

Testing with sample data...
Using existing section ID: 22 for testing
✅ Inserted test question with ID: 224
✅ Retrieved question_no: '7-a' (Type: string)
✅ Cleaned up test data

🎉 Migration completed successfully!
Question numbers can now store string values like '7-a', '7-b', etc.
